The protest will continue until their demands are met by the state government, according to a Central MARD representative. Meanwhile, the Municipal Medical Teachers Association has postponed its mass casual leave protest to allow the BMC administration time to enhance hospital security. Patients have been experiencing disruptions in services, with reduced surgeries and limited OPDs at hospitals such as KEM, LTMG, Nair, and Cooper. Medical facilities are operating at significantly reduced capacities, affecting patient care.
